I mean, really, who on earth would want to be married to a bitter, miserable, workaholic with nothing-to-show-for-it crabapple?) on top of my struggling business, I seriously felt like I was drowning. Even though I had a business degree from top-rated Georgetown University and I knew in my heart that I was worth a lot more than I was making or charging, I just couldn’t get ahead no matter what I did or how hard I tried. What was most frustrating was that

My mind was spinning and replaying the same old tape over and over again. I’d just wonder over and over:
How should I price my services and how much should I mark-up everything or should I even be marking up things?
Should I charge a flat fee or charge by the hour? A percentage? Or a combination of all of the above?
Why can’t I ever manage to actually keep some of that deposit money in my bank account without it all going out the door?
How can I get publicity without spending my life savings on a publicist?
How is it exactly that the same people are in UsWeekly, People, and Martha Stewart over and over and over again?
What do I do if my client doesn’t pay me? Or worse, threatens to sue me?
