In the Haute Seat…

Hey party people! :)

You’re like, it’s too early,….why is she so happy? Well, I made a breakthrough with my son last night, who was really excited to tell me all the phrases he could say! He’ll be two next month and it’s just a joy to watch him grow.  I’m definitely one of those moms who has a good time parenting, even though it can be EXTREMELY stressful some moments.

Now to the good, fun stuff! In planning his 2nd birthday party, I found some really cool kid swag gift items, party ideas, etc. Let me share some of my favorites with you:

Cute Girly Bracelets

Jewels for the Girls

jewelrybydfly.com If I had a girl, this would definitely be my theme for one of her parties, or at minimum, tie into a theme so they can make some cute jewelery via a cute jewelery making station! I know this idea has been used time and time again, but it’s all in what you use (beads, wooden bea ds, paints, etc.), and what you have them make that makes this unique!

Green ideas

Love to save the earth.  (I tried by using cloth diapers for 9 months :) ) Well this a great idea from Green Planet Parties.  Take a look at their reusable birthday banners, tablecloths, etc. (now don’t get snarky…of course you’ll wanna change the theme of the party each year, but maybe it’s just a good back drop for a portion of the event. And for you *green* enthusiast clients, they’ll be all over this idea).  This site also has cute goodie bag ideas and all in the name of going and staying *green*.

ROCKIN' Kids Bash

http://www.rockstarkidz.com/ — I just had to give a plug to this ATL based company.  They offer some cool ideas for kids parties.  From Bollywood, to Rock Star red carpet action, to Paying Respects to Legends, they’re really cute with the themes.

http://www.knockknock.biz/catalog/categories/books-other-words/bingo/kids-night-out-bingo/ CUTE kids night out bingo cards. Gosh I wish Noah was old enough for this to keep him and a couple buds occupied for a night, but such is life. Have fun perusing this site for some snarky trinkets also.

http://www.haidensurf.com/ Just stop. These *cali* surf/beach clothes for kids are TOO cute! Now time to teach Noah to surf! Is he too small? :)

Haiden Surf Gear

http://www.shopbabysusu.com/ I’m partial to boys clothes, because the cute, less expensive ones are harder to find.  Chicas are lucky! I liked this site for some ideas.  I’d probably get something from here, then go to Old Navy kids and get the “rest of the outfit.” How’s that for stylish bargain shopping?

Alright that’s all I got in me for now. Hope this is helpful in some way.

Have an awesome day!

  1. I LOVE your ideas. My son turned 2 last week and I was thinking I should have done more (we had a cute Cars theme party that he chose). I have a whole year now to plan to go big for age 3. I think he will be really into it then. Thanks for the great websites!
